My Initial Thoughts
After my first night on the Bruno mattress, here are my initial thoughts:
- Medium to Slightly Firm Feel – the Bruno sits between a 6.5-7 out of 10 on the firmness scale, 10 being the most firm.
- Good response time – with a top layer of latex, the Bruno mattress does a good job of responding when pressure is applied. While lying on the Bruno there is no restricted or stuck feeling whatsoever.
- Good bounce – once again, the latex top layer provides a good degree of bounce. The bounce is very nice with regards to getting out of bed as well as amorous activities. Motion transfer on the Bruno was above average. Not quite at the same level as a traditional memory foam, but significantly better than coil / spring mattresses.
- Foam Design – the Bruno has one of the most interesting foam designs I have seen to date (including mattresses I have reviewed for Sleepopolis US). The 7 zones built into a support foam is quite intriguing. I’ll have much more to say on this after I’ve been able to fully test the Bruno.
